Dine-In or Take-Out at Greater Cleveland’s Newest Greek Restaurant: The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill

I am so excited to get back to going out to dinner and trying new restaurants! I always love going to my old favorites but trying something new is so exciting. This past weekend, we were able to try out one of Greater Cleveland’s newest restaurants, the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, which just opened in Rocky River, a west side suburb of Cleveland.

This is a sponsored post. Clevelandfashionista worked with Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in exchange for an opportunity to try the food free of charge. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and treated extremely well. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast casual restaurant. You are able to order at the front and eat in, while the restaurant brings your food to you OR you can order out—online or carry out. We decided to eat in, as the restaurant was clean and allowed for social distancing. When we were going to order, Adnane, the owner, recommended the best things for us to try, and I am so glad we went with his suggestions, as we were about to try all the great things the restaurant has!

We started with their Greek salad which had such a delicious Greek dressing. We were also able to sample their Four Dip Combo, which came with pita bread and four dips, including hummus, tzatziki, tirokaftari (a cream cheese and pepper blend), and melitzanosalata, a blend of eggplant, lemon juice, and garlic. We split the Great Green Gyro (so good, I want to get it again!) that came with Feta Fries (amazing!) and the Souvlaki, a combo of chicken, shrimp, and rice pilaf with pita on the side (so good!). The food was plated beautifully, which I was impressed with for a fast casual restaurant and was delicious. There was also plenty of food at a great price!

After we had the full spread, we were able to try out their dessert sampler, which consisted of all their amazing desserts, including baklava ice cream (so good and my personal favorite), baklava, rice pudding, and Kourabiedes cookies (vanilla, butter, and powdered sugar). I highly recommend trying one of the dessert options when you go. You won’t regret it.
