Smile Brilliant: Get your Smile Camera Ready for the Holidays!

One of my favorite physical features is my smile. I was blessed with nice teeth and with parents who were willing to help do everything that needed to be done to make my teeth straight! Ever since I got my braces off at age 14, I have always whitened my teeth and have used a variety of teeth whitening products. As I got older, using products to remove stains became even more important as I relied on several cups of coffee to get me through my day and became an avid wine drinker in my twenties. Across the past twenty years, I’ve used white strips, whitening pens, and whitening gels. I even used the first Crest White Strips in the 90s! I’ve always been pretty pleased with the results but was excited to try something new when Smile Brilliant reached out to me.
Smile Brilliant is a teeth whitening system that uses custom-fitted teeth whitening trays that is the SAME as what you would pay for if you use the system through a dentist’s office at a much more affordable cost! The trays allow for even distribution of the whitening gel for more stain removal and whitening on every single tooth.

With Smile Brilliant, you make your own teeth molds and send them in for custom-fitted trays. Smile Brilliant provides you with all the materials and very clear instructions on what to do and not to do. They even give you enough product to make a mistake and try over again! I was lucky both of molds came out ok on the first try, but I will admit that it was very reminiscent of being at the orthodontist’s office!!!

My molds came back in about a week, and I was ready to try to start the whitening process. I decided to go with the Sensitivity Package, although I actually did not end up needing to even use the sensitivity gel. The whitening product from Smile Brilliant did not bother my teeth at all, which was HUGE for me.
It is recommended that the trays be used in the evening before bed. The reasoning for this is that the whitening gel is working on removing stains and can open up the pores on your teeth. Doing it before bed allows the pores to close and for moisture to come back in the tooth. This was slightly a challenge for me, as I love to relax with a glass of wine before bed. I did have to adjust my nightly routine to accommodate the whitening trays, but after seeing immediate results, it wasn’t hard for me to keep at it!
As you can see above, I had white teeth before this process, so I wasn’t necessarily looking for EXTREME results (since your teeth can only get so white and still stay your natural color). My teeth were noticeably whiter and CLEANER than before use of the system. Although other products have whitened my teeth, this system seemed to have a deep stain removal that left my teeth glowing!
After use of the system, here are my initial thoughts and why I will still continue to use this system from now and all the way through the holiday season!
The system DEEP CLEANS your teeth and removes stains. You can keep the trays in from 45 minutes for up to three hours. It is recommend to start out shorter and build up to longer periods, especially if you have sensitive teeth. If you have deep stains, I would recommend using the system everyday for 2-3 weeks!
I really liked how the system gave you PLENTY of whitening gel. You only need a little bit (1/4-1/3 of a syringe per session), so you have plenty left over! I plan on likely using more again closer to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s! The gel keeps for one year at room temperature and up to two years refrigerated.
Compared to other methods I’ve used, this was the one that made my teeth the least sensitive. I even fell asleep with my trays in for three hours with minimal sensitivity. As I mentioned before, I used the sensitivity kit based on past experiences with other teeth whitening products but did not even need it. If you’ve experience sensitivity with whitening before, I highly recommend this product!
