On Trend Spring and Summer Silhouettes with Express

As we finally get some consistently warm weather in Cleveland, I start to gear up and get ready for all of my spring and summer fashion! When I want to ensure I stay chic and classy yet on trend, I always love to go to Express to see what they are carrying for the season. I am so impressed with their selection of unique statement tops, which create silhouettes that harken back to the 80s and the early 2000s.

One of my first finds that I loved was the silky off the shoulder top. This stretchy material has ruching on the side and the look and feel takes me back to my sorority days of going out and College ID nights in the early to mid 2000s. You can bring that look into vogue even more with the addition of their trendy flares! For my outfit today, I wore my favorite high waisted dark denim. In addition to bringing back memories of my college days, this top also reminds me of the 80s—especially paired with this triangle belt! I love the fresh take on the belt with this fun buckle.

If there is a fun and unique silhouette for spring, this padded shoulder top is perfect. I love the pads, as well as the wide shoulder look, which reminds me so much of the 80s! I found an older pair of acid wash jeans from Express that I had in my closet, but was able to link up a few similar pairs currently available. Go all in on this look—why not?
